I like that this gear is made in the USA. It feels solid overall, and the quality seems good. The prices were a little higher than I was hoping for, but if that’s important to you, it’s still worth considering.

The buckle works, but it feels kind of cheap. I expected it to feel a bit sturdier, and it’s a little annoying because I just wanted something simple that didn’t feel flimsy right away.

I bought this from alaskaguidecreations.com expecting the retention to feel really solid, but I was disappointed. My gear felt a little loose, and I kept catching myself checking it throughout the day, which kind of defeats the purpose. Maybe it works fine for other people, but I didn’t feel comfortable trusting it on hikes. For the price, I just expected better.

The fabric feels decent enough, so I was hopeful at first, but after just a few trips the stitching on mine started looking kind of rough and I was like, oh no, here we go. It’s not a total disaster or anything, but definitely not as solid as I expected.

I bought this because I thought the side pockets would be really handy, especially for quick-access stuff. My brother has a similar pack with side pockets he uses all the time, so I figured this one would work the same way.

Unfortunately, once the main pouch is filled up, those side pockets get so tight they’re barely useful. I tried putting a wind checker, gloves, and even a small rangefinder in there, but everything either stuck out awkwardly or felt like it was going to fall out.

The pack itself is decent enough, but the pocket layout frustrated me pretty much every time I used it. For the price, I expected a smarter design. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I was hoping this would hold up longer, but it actually started falling apart after just one season. Didn’t last nearly as long as I expected...

I’ve taken this harness out on a few hikes now. It does the job. Holds my binos well, feels rugged too. No complaints there. The only thing is the bulk. And the extra weight. Not terrible, but more than I was expecting. After a full day out, I definitely notice it. Still a good harness overall, just not as light and low-profile as I hoped.

I’ve had my pack for a few weeks now, the zippers have been working great. They’re smooth and easy to use, even when my hands are cold, which has been a nice little win. There’s one spot around a corner that feels a bit stiff, but it’s nothing that really bothers me. Overall, I’m happy with it and feel good about the purchase

I had a frustrating experience with their support. I reached out for help and they just never got back to me, which felt really "unprofessional" and disappointing.

I found everything quickly, which was nice. It felt like they probably laid things out with first-timers in mind, because I didn’t have to wander around or think too much about where to go.

I ordered from alaskaguidecreations.com the shipping was quicker than I was expecting. I got the tracking email soon after ordering, and then the package actually showed up a couple days earlier than I had in my head... so that was a nice surprise.
The only thing is the tracking updates were a little slow at the beginning, so I wasn’t totally sure what was going on at first. But it all worked out fine, no real complaints. I’d order from them again.

My binos fit in it, though not as snugly as I was hoping. I had to mess with the adjustments a little to get it sitting right. It’s not perfect, but it works well enough, so I guess I’m fine with it overall.

I got stuck in some really awful rain and snow, the weather was just miserable the whole time. Cold, wet, nonstop, just terrible weather. But somehow nothing inside my pack got wet. I kept checking because it was raining so much and snowing on top of that, and I was sure something would leak in, but everything stayed dry.

I really wanted to like this pack, but the pocket setup just didn’t work with how I use it :/ All my smaller stuff kept piling up on top of each other, and I was constantly digging around for my calls, wind checker, and tags. I’m sure it might be fine for some people, but for me the organization felt awkward and got annoying on every trip.

I picked up an Alaska Guide Creations setup because I figured the higher price would mean it’d feel noticeably better than some of the cheaper options I’ve used. It does the job, so I can’t say it’s useless, but side by side with other gear in the same category, it didn’t really stand out the way I expected.

For what it cost, especially after shipping, I was expecting nicer materials and a sleeker feel. Instead, it felt a bit bulky and not quite as premium as the price suggests. I’d probably go with a different brand next time.

The site looks decent and I did eventually find what I needed, but using it felt a bit frustrating, like I was stuck clicking around longer than I should have been. The menus were slow, and on mobile it didn’t feel very smooth or easy to get around.

I was hoping this would give my binoculars a bit more protection, but reading between the lines, it’s really not meant for much more than light coverage. Mine still ended up getting scratched, so I can’t say it did the job I needed it to do.

I had to use the warranty, which I was kind of not excited about, but it went better than I thought. They got it fixed quick, so yeah, no big complaint from me

The pack fits alright now, but it definitely took more messing around than I thought it would. They make it sound like the adjustments are quick and easy, but that wasn’t really my experience. I had to keep tweaking the straps to get it comfortable, and then when I changed layers, I had to adjust it all over again. Once it’s dialed in, it feels fine, but it’s not as effortless as promised.
